I love the premise of this and the art style and everything, but it's sour they never got a chance to finish the game. An episodic release cautionary tale.

The studio that made the game went bankrupt and the game was left unfinished. However, it's still a game worth playing. I felt sorry for the studio. RIP.

A real shame this became vapourware. Loads of promise. Enjoyed first two episodes.

Honestly I wish I could reccomend this. The first two chapters are well written and full of neat twists and turns. A really interesting take on the telltale formula...

Unfortunately because the game failed and flopped, theres no more chapters and what you have then is essentially only half a book. Very sad.

You have to approach failed indie games from a certain point of view. Are you coming into this game expecting an ending? Well, unfortunately, that's not here. But if you want to see ambitious, creative, and gorgeous storytelling on a limited budget.... its a perfect buy. The aesthetic and the writing are on point. There's INSANELY memorable ways they utilize color and incorporate the classic film noir monologue into gameplay.

Are you going to be sad that the story won't be finished? Of course. Is it worth the ride anyway? Absolutely.
