Much like the previous reviews, I had problems with the switch at the end of the game too. However, my issue was not the switch itself, but in the execution. The opening part of the game is obviously a really chill little stroll through a beautiful pixelated town and while the switch is jarring, I actually think its pretty visually interesting and a nice change to give the game a little more intrigue. Sadly I think it ends up trying a bit too hard in its final moments and I wish it went for a more subtle but haunting approach instead of stooping down to try and make a really cheap "scare".

Similar to what other comments have said, the first 90% of the game has a totally different vibe than the last 10%. I wasn't expecting it to turn somewhat-horror, and I actually closed out of the game the first time when that scene began. But I opened it again for the sake of my stream and finished it.

Still, the first 90% was very enjoyable and maybe if there was a different plot/conclusion that would really make this a more fulfilling experience.

lol I should have listened to AlexaLily

idk what tone she meant by her comment but for me the ending sequence quickly went from an appreciative dread to surely unintentional laughter

neat until then tho!!

I really love the first 90% of this game. Exploring this city, absorbing all the cool vibes, hangin' out and lookin' around. It's a great time. But that last ten percent was a rough time. If you play this one, just hang out in the city. Don't worry about what happens at the end. Spare yourself that. Just chill in this nice deserted city.
