Overall, Colored Effects is a solid platform puzzle game that offers a unique gameplay experience. Its well-designed levels, precise controls, and inclusion of boss fights make it a worthwhile addition to the Switch library. The lack of scaling of the challenge and explaining new mechanics was frustrating, but I never quit playing because of it. However, priced at just $4.99, it's an excellent choice for players seeking something fresh and engaging.

A fun indie puzzle platformer that utilizes color mechanics. There are several stages included with Colored Effects with some fun boss fights that may require a little bit of timing. Some proof to be a challenge, until you get the proper mechanics of that boss fight down. Beyond the boss fights, most of the levels provide a nice puzzle challenge with some pretty great music to follow. I certainly recommend Colored Effects if you are someone who enjoys platform puzzlers.

A cool indie puzzle platformer centered around color related mechanics that are seized quite meaningfully in the logic of the stages. While it has some boss fights and a couple of levels that require weird timing, it is overall focused in its clever puzzles which may include a couple of red herrings to watch out for. My main gripe was having to redo some of the more annoying to set up ones but that didn't dimish my enjoyment in a noticeable way.

Oh, and by being a Godot game that already is a plus on my book. Just be kind to yourself and play it with a controller.
