I got to know the show Cobra 11 through this interesting game. If you don't know what Cobra 11 is, it is a pretty fun German crime drama.

The game is pretty much a Cobra 11 spinoff. Well at least it takes place in the Cobra 11 universe and you control the main characters. The plot in this game centers around the said characters but has nothing to do with the actual TV show from what I know. The voice acting is also pretty bad but not insufferable.

The biggest marketing gimmick of this game is probably its crash effects, which are genuinely convincing for its time. I used to drive around the city and just destroy as many cars as possible because I really liked the damage effects. Nowadays, however, it is nothing to write home about but still relatively realistic in my opinion.

The biggest flaw of this game is its controls, which are so bad its comical. Some of the cars would literally jitter left and right as you drive which makes for the worst driving experience I have ever had. Don't bother even try the race mode in this game because it is extremely frustrating given the controls. As a driving game, it probably only gets one star for how utterly terrible it is.

Luckily, the game still manages to shine itself through its impressive crash effects. It's still funny as hell going around crushing cars in the street to the degree that you will almost forget about the terrible controls. Many of the large vehicles like that Scout APC are actually not bad to control and I suggest you use that as you free roam. Tldr, reject sports cars as they control terrible and embrace destruction through large ass tanks and trucks.

I don't remember how this came across my radar, but I love it so much. It's a needlessly difficult action driving game with some fun physics and you can get hit by a train because sure why not. And the voice acting is so bad I love it so much.

Fun little sandbox game full of cars.

I got this game out of nowhere added to my Steam library. I genuinely have no clue how I acquired it. Apparently it is based around a German crime series called "Alarm für Kobra 11", a series that would be considered porn by Michael Bay.
