A decent little Rolling Thunder wannabe but with a theme that reminds me of Super Sentai. Sadly there’s not much to say about the game as you beat up enemies with punches and kicks and you can get three different costumes that can get a special weapon. The red gives a sword, the blue gives a gun, and the green gives a boomerang. One tip I’d give is make sure you’re aware of the punch attack by holding up and attack. You can also charge ground attacks and even do a special kick if you lack a weapon.

That said it’s got flaws. The controls are the worst part of the game, not that it’s bad but moreso that they just don’t always work in moments where you can get an item you might miss or trying to hit a fast enemy. I also find going down off a platform to be very finicky. The music while good only has about 4 songs so it might get on your nerves after a while. The last stage goes on for a little too long and for some unknown reason you refight the first two bosses here twice. The final boss is also laughably easy where it has a simple to understand pattern and just dies quickly to many punches. I guess they thought not being able to do charge attacks would make it hard but no, it’s pretty pathetic.

Unless the theme of the game interests you, it’s not something I’d recommend you playing. Sure it may be decent but it’s nothing spectacular and it could have been possibly a good game with some fixes. Play at your own risk but I am glad to have beaten it after it bested me last night.
