Played for RetroAchievements. You might think it's stupid to rate a game like this 5 stars. It isn't. This game honestly blew me away. I played a ton of Guitar Hero around when 3 came out and I haven't played many rhythm games since then. The system in D-Pad Hero is so simple but so difficult, and very satisfying to nail a hard part.

When I realized what was happening I said "oh my god" out loud, and that kept happening whenever the game threw more and more complex patterns at me. It's unbelievable how this simple game made me feel while playing. Never got old during the hour of attempts it took me to get bronze on all 4 songs. Would love to go back to it and try and really get good sometime. If you like Guitar Hero and similar games, please give this a try.
