Look, if you like mindless zombie-smashing fun, Dead Island: Riptide delivers. It's basically more of the same: tropical setting, hordes of the undead, and a whole lotta loot to grab. Honestly, the story's forgettable, the quests are beyond repetitive, and the jankiness from the first game is still here. But if you wanna kick back with buddies for some cheesy, gory entertainment where you don't have to think too hard, it's a guilty pleasure.

It’s honestly so bad that I got it for free when it was on Steam and I still refuse to download it because of how awful my experience with Dead Island:Riptide was on the Xbox 360

I mean, its better than getting head from a pencil sharpener

Brainlessly killing zombies was entertaining to a certain extent, but even that was also a problem, and the game has a lot of problems. The modders have done something about the problems in the game. If you're going to play, you'd better download this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/deadislandriptide/mods/2)

I haven't used it but this looks good too (https://www.nexusmods.com/deadislandriptide/mods/3)

-Good sides

-Weapon variety is good, although only a few weapons feel good.
-Cutting down a small amount of zombies is fun.
-I couldn't think of anything else.

-Bad parts

-Animations are bad.
-The effects used are bad.
-Player interface is bad.
-The game is balanced for co-op, not single player, so it is not designed separately for both.
-Special types of zombies are not good. (Especially the zombie type called Thug, which is only exaggeratedly suppressed)
-Even though I'm not a big fan of graphics, it's bad.
-Vehicle controls are terrible, especially the boat.
-Gunfire sucks.

No es tan bueno como el anterior, pero está divertido.
Tiene una mecánica añadida de "defensa de torre" que lo hace interesante, donde deberás preparar tu base para ataques de hordas cada tanto tiempo.
