Fairly enjoyable to play with friends, but has a bit of a grind for upgrading your gear and characters. Loved the destructible environments.

Deep Rock Galactic is like a litmus test for people's taste in games. You really get to see what people think "variety" is when they don't play for more than 20 hours and never touch a haz 5 game. This game has tons of variety in playstyles, builds, locations alongside great balance (minus the bots) and is one of the rare examples I can find where randomisation improves the experience.

Before the robot update this game is a 4.5/5, however I feel the robot update kinda made the game strangely unbalanced in terms of its experience. The game prior to that update however has design elements that are simply jawdropping in terms of the value they add to the experience. Hopefully the devs figure out what the community likes and improves the game from here on out.

God, I love it when a live service game is consumer-friendly and fun to play. ROCK AND STONE TO THE BONE!

Deep Rock Galactic is a good game for party play, but it suffers in solo play. The game is built around playing in a part with each of the four playable classes having a unique role in the party. Playing with friends requires constant communication and leads to heated moments of action that keep you on edge. The game is a great example of party-play done right.

probably a 5/5 but my friends wont play it with me
