I want to like this game more than I do. Visually it's fine; there are gacha games that look better and those that look worse. This one is pretty middle of the road, and that's fine.

The real appeal here is that it's a Disney gacha game, and the available cast of characters is pretty broad and even includes some less popular or well-known characters, which is a nice touch. This game has all the typical hallmarks of a gacha game, including gear, leveling/tiering up your characters, PVP, guilds, guild raids, dailies, and more. There's a decent amount of things to do.

Unfortunately, that's where my praise for this game ends. I'm still fairly low level, but I find that I burn through my energy extremely quickly, which prevents me from playing for as long as I'd like. Secondly, and most egregiously, this game is blatantly pay-to-win, and I'm not sure how much fun it's going to be in the long run as a F2P player. You can outright purchase a lot of characters to remove a lot of RNG on pulling for units like most gacha games do, but the prices are outrageous - for example, there are some characters that literally cost $50 to purchase. You can get some characters by gathering enough tokens of that character and combining them, but that's still a lot of grinding. It's really unfortunate, because I want to love this game but don't know if I'll ever be in a place to enjoy it without whaling.
