Based on the direct-to-video sequel, 101 Dalmatians II is a PlayStation exclusive game released in 2003, 3 years after the PS2 was out on the market.

The fact that these direct-to-video movies are actually candidates for video games both surprises and doesn't surprise me.

The game's pretty straightforward - collect the items, don't die.
Some levels are easier than others, and the only thing that happens when you die is you have to restart the last level from the beginning.

Some enemies are magnetically attracted to you and as soon as you're in a few feet of them they will literally fly over to you and take off a chunk of your health.
You can only stun them, which helps, but not for very long, especially when you stun them next to something you have to dig up, because more often than not they'll become unstunned and kill you before you can grab the thing you just dug up.

The rest of the game is pretty boring and empty.
I don't think anyone should play this game.

Here's something; the max amount of puppies you can rescue is 99.
You play as one of the 101 and the parents, who count as the 101, aren't actually kidnapped, it's just the kids, so that's 3 who don't need saving, making it 98 who need rescuing.

Where'd the other puppy come from?
