The wonderful thing about the Dominions games is that they are all basically still Dominions 3, but they do get better with every new release. But since Dominions 3 was extremely good, all the subsequent Dominions titles have continued to be extremely good. There's nothing quite like a raiding party of ethereal elephants trampling through an unprepared player's doomstack of chaff, or summoning an unknowable terror from beyond the stars which will certainly destroy your nation, but it'll also destroy everyone else eventually, or plunging the world into utter darkness because skeletons don't need to see and you're fuckin' MA Ermor
