Even if Tempest tells the story of a young woman called Anastasia Lynzel. Raised by her stepmother, Evelina, she had to face cruelty since a young age being usually forced to stay in the attic. One day her life changes forever as she gains a special ability called Fatal Rewind, which allows her to change the past. However, this skill comes with a catch: her fate will give birth to a new, possibly worse tragedy nonetheless. As she tries to break free, she will have the chance to become more intimately connected with four main characters.

Unfortunately I had to drop this game. First route went fine but then the game started to crash in a very concerning tempo (as in almost every 5 dialogue lines). By a quick search I found out this is a widespread problem for people. I have tried everything from reinstalling the game, putting the console in an airplane mode, but nothing helped. I refuse to play and save every third line and keep restarting the game.

It is a shame since the story seemed very interesting but the game released in 2022 and this is not fixed still, gives me very little hope it ever will and the full price for the game is 49.99 so I am not very happy to say the least.

for a voltage game, fully voiced with all kinds of unique gameplay elements, i found this really impressive and ambitious. its really interesting to have the routes flow into one another but it also sorta makes it so that all players have the same-ish experience. without a guide this game wouldve had me tearing my hair out, lmao. i love you Crius Castlerock. v interested in playing the fandisc!

Siento que faltó más desarrollo del romance en unas rutas pero igual me gustó el angst

I felt the game started good (and most characters were very good) but near the end it dived and I just wanted to speed through everything. Some other part that made me rate the game lower, but was some time since i played and can't remember.

I didn't have much faith that the full game would satisfyingly wrap up the immense amount of misery the intro kicks up, but it really, really does. Not a game you really want to play for the romance (especially if you want to see a kiss with the game cover monster, like I know plenty did when it was announced), but a game that commits to the story it's telling and the characters it loops through again and again.

My main problem is that it has more gameplay than your standard VN, but it was wholly unfun to actually play. Definitely play something like GNOSIA instead if you want a engaging Werewolf simulator. It also crashed on me more than a dozen times, generally tripping up in specific spots for some reason.

And it's nice that the best explanation for "why" a specific thing is the way it is is "character's trans". Always positive in my book.

This game is fucking crazy but I love it. My only real gripe is the audio compression... no idea why they did that.
EDIT: They did an update that fixed the audio!!! Finally!
