Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy - Director's Cut

released on Sep 15, 2005

The Director's Cut has sex scenes that were cut in the other versions. Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit in Europe) is a psychological thriller in which the player is able to control different characters on both sides of a murder - the killer and those who are trying to find him. The game's core gameplay style is adventure. The three protagonists explore various locations, talk to other characters, and interact with the environment in order to advance. However, the game is heavy on various action-oriented sequences, from tasks that must be completed within a limited amount of time to quick time events, which require the player to press the correct button during a scene.

A lot of semiotic meaning in this one: the crow at the beginning that exits through the window is the game's potential being thrown out of the window after a promising beginning. Probably revolutionary at at the time of its release, due to the lack of thereof. Left me somehow pushing through the story that tries hard to shock you or surprise you, to quote the protagonist Lucas "...now I'll never know what happened. " exactly how I felt - those meticulously done scenes after failure make you want to withstand the circus and stay with the game till the end and this is one of the parts I liked the most ( besides the first half of the story ).

It's a bit too much, but it's impossible not to respect the ideas behind the game.

Like all quantum dreams games this is truly exceptional & maybe there best game

Simon says your way through this terrible game
