This port is solid. It surprised me it was any good considering they zoomed the screen in. Outside of some kind of unfair projectiles off screen with wizards two or three times, the game is fairly designed though this might be a turn off for veterans of the original.

I don't know if I've just gotten better at this game but I enjoyed the game more than I did the last two times I played the Arcade version. It also felt a lot easier this time so maybe I've gotten better. I still wish the game wasn't so long though, I think 30 stages would have been enough.

The music being really nice is also another reason to give this port a try. While it's not perfect, Gain Ground fans should try this port out if you haven't. Still not sure why it has SX in the title though.
