Why was such a simple videogame so good? I really can't answer that besides nostalgia honestly, it controls well as a wii game and while the platforming and exploration isn't anything too interesting, its diverse race-like sections are really fun actually, same with the 2 player vs mode where you get options like playing as an elephant. The story is pretty simple, but its a kids game, what did you expect from it? Shame the "safari" premise is pretty limited to only elephants, but again, its a kids game it gets a pass.
This was the easiest and ugliest looking PS2 game I had out of the total 5, but this allowed me to get much farther into it compared to the others, I think I even beat it. I do remember really enjoying this.
