Looks like this is the first review. Doesn't surprise me given that this is only a demo as of writing this review, but I'll give it my review.

It is so much like Live-A-Live, a game I hold dear to my heart. The fact that one of my favorite devs made a somewhat spiritual successor to it makes me purely ecstatic.

Gameplay Rating: 9/10
The grid-based gameplay is INCREDIBLY reminiscent of Live-A-Live, especially with the attacks that have their own kooky ranges. Positioning in this game is a joy, especially with the "you cannot take damage" gimmick.
That being said, I'm not too sold on the "rhythm" mechanic? Timing your damage feels a little forced but I guess it takes some inspiration from Paper Mario; in the end, I don't mind it too much, but I'm not a fan of it either.

Story Rating: 8/10
It's a LAME Dimension game. They're not master writers (as far as I know), but they make up for it in spades with their comedic writing. Every character has so much charm oozing out of them, it's great.

Colorblindness Rating: A+
From what I remember, I don't think I had any trouble with anything in the demo. If there is to be some sort of color-based dungeon in the full release, then I dunno, but given LAME Dimension is at least aware of colorblind people (see: Super Ledgehop Double Laser), I have faith they won't make it frustrating for colorblind people.
