Constant drawn-out melodramatic cutscenes laced inbetween beat-em-up sections, fighting ridiculously oversized enemies, dudes ripping their shirts off for an epic showdown. It's funny that the Yakuza team would later make a Fist of the North Star game because this is much more the prototype Yakuza than the Shenmue games.

This game is tons of fun if you're a fan of Hokuto No Ken. It follows the story of the anime pretty closely and recreated the opening and some iconic scenes in low poly 3D. Also, when you beat the bosses in the single player mode you can use them in a 1v1 multiplayer arena fighting mode. Characters are highly unbalanced but it's a fun little thing.
this game is for when the doctor says you only have six hours left to live and you still wanna watch hokuto no ken. in truth my rating should've been a 3/5 because 90% of the game is endless cutscenes but the animations, the textures, the recreated opening, the fact that they got the original voice cast back including the narrator, i don't know, it just makes me like it a lot more. the only reason i didn't finish it is because i was getting tired of fast forwarding through the cutscenes, i felt bad about it because you can see the effort that was put into them but i kind of don't know japanese and there's no english patch out there so yeah
I don't understand Japanese but because it follows the original story of the first season I just assumed that the story is great
gameplay is cool but theres this awful set up where there are no real levels but instead just little pits of enemies that lead into more long boring cutscenes and then this repeats for at the very least until jagi but I am not playing anymore of this...... sexy visuals tho ooooooh my god
