I know some people consider this an obscure sleeper hit, but the gameplay and cutscenes suck major chode.

It fells like the devs saw gameplay of The 7th Guest and said “We could do that!” without understanding the format of point and click adventure and point and click horror games. Also the game just looks bad. There are games from this time for PC that look so much better.

Liked the ideas, disliked the execution.

A friend and I once spent 3 hours of our lives trying to get this game working on modern windows from an ISO, in a bold attempt to revisit a game we reference as an inside joke. Worth every moment.

While I don't have the same nostalgia he has for this game (having grown up with the game) it still remains a cornerstone of our friendship. A very good late 90s Point and Click horror game. Good in-engine jump scares with that perfect amount of B-rated horror gags (over the top blood, apparitions, the like). Great sound design and soundtrack (the elevator midi rivals that of the save rooms from Resident Evil).

It is, as they say, a beachball. Worth a try

Great ost, I was pretty disappointed with the fact that chapter 1 gave you a great buildup to the story and then threw it out of the window and made exploration the main point of the game.
I was personally more hooked on the story rather than the exploration and solving the mazes. But still a fine game, If anyone likes old point-and-click games that doesn't tell you anything regarding how to progress in the game, check it out. but I can't recommend it to anyone.

First of all, this game needs way more attention, it has one the most most amazing true horror elements I've ever seen in a video game, the map and the design is amazing, and the story is really interesting, the acting in the game could definitely use some work but this is a very small part of the game so it doesn't effect much, the gameplay and puzzle elements are just wonderful and the atmosphere and the soundtrack are really good and definitely play a huge part in giving the horror vibe in the game, overall, I'd recommend giving it a look.
