So this ended up being a really important game for me. It introduced me to the world of Game Maker and YoyoGames, which got me interested in game design, and I now have a career in that industry because of it. It was my introduction to hard platformers, which I still love to this day. As well, it was made by Maddy Thorson, who would go on to create Celeste.
Honestly, this game has some pretty fun platforming. The physics are a bit odd at first, but it's fine once you get used to it. There are some really hard levels too, but they don't feel unfair to me. There's a story for some reason, and it's fine. For an indie game that came out in 2005, it's pretty good. It hasn't aged all that well in some regards, but it still holds a special place in my heart.
