had any good runs lately my fellow balatro-like enjoyers?? I for one always receive magnanimous blessings from "RNGshua" because I turn off the djent shitmetal and listen to muzak with proper mooD, believ it or not!.

rogue with fancy graphics? yes please

it's doomrl with the copyright violations filed off!

what this means is that in tone it's an 80s/90s low budget scifi action thriller, which kicks ass and you can't prove otherwise, and in gameplay it's something that started as "what if doom but turn based".

the systems are simple but deep: 3 characters, each with several build directions, and a bunch of distinct weapon types, none of which is the clear solution to everything. a very limited inventory gets you constantly thinking about which items and ammo you do and don't need and discourages megalixir syndrome.

individual runs are pretty short for a roguelike, like 2-4 hours all the way to the end if you're going slowly and deliberately.

it's cool. it's a cool game. i miss the copyright violations tho.
