Lara Croft Go is a fun and short puzzle game that looks great and has some fun and challenging puzzles but does lack some variety in the enemy types. The visuals are striking and the DLC add-ons have some unique mechanics which do stand out more. It’s often on price for very cheap so is worth it and for trophy hunters has an easy Platinum on PS4/Vita. It’s a shared list though so no double Platinum.
Unironically one of the best games in the Tomb Raider franchise.
This is core tomb raiding: puzzles, traps, wildlife. No shootouts with humans, no convoluted plots, no vehicle sections. The controls are elegant, the visual design so very on point, the little flourishes a delight. Everything is taught through gameplay, the player sorting out how enemies move and attack, how everything fits together. The puzzle design is approachable, the checkpoints are generous, and overall the package is just a delight, especially when those little flourishes come up. The rare chance of the handstand-over-the-edge, the roll when reversing directions, the occasional chance to do a bit of acrobatic shooting. And beyond that: the hunt-and-find for the collectables hidden in the background, each set leading to a classic outfit when completed. Immaculate, a perfect distillation of the formula.

If you like Tomb Raider and puzzle games with a slow pace, this game is for you!
I really enjoyed playing it through as the levels were interesting and the puzzles were fun to solve. Making the game "turn-based" is a good concept that works great in this game, since you need to think out every move you do.
