I can't expect much better from a pseudo-3D NES game, but this game has horrendous physics. It feels like the controls just decide to stop working properly every time you touch a slope

marble madness takes less than five minutes to beat, but over the years, i know i've spent quite a few hours on this game. the marble feels great to control, and being able to go at two different speeds is very helpful at times. the graphics are honestly great for the nes, and the music tracks fit the stages well and soothe the ears. all the obstacles in the game are very fair and easy to understand, and when you die, you get back to the action right away. i just love everything they did here!

Okay, Marble Madness... talk about a blast from the past! It might look super simple, but don't let that fool you. This game is brutally hard and surprisingly addictive – guiding that marble through those crazy courses takes way more finesse than you'd think. Nostalgia aside, it might not hold up for everyone nowadays.

A short classic, doesn't require that much effort to complete at least once. Fun and it's not even that janky.
