This is a port of an Arcade game by Namco. I think the original was isometric but this port is top down. It starts off pretty fun but the game is a little too long for how simple the gameplay loop feels. The water stage is also pretty bad with awful rng raft patterns that I feel even the devs hated because the level is incredibly short. Bosses never feel too fulfilling and the difficulty is just all over the place, the final boss is also way too hard compared to most of the game.

Despite the issues however, it can be fun especially once you learn how to get good at the game, don’t give up on it and keep trying to learn and you’ll find some enjoyment here. There’s also a lot of fun powerups to get as well so try to look for them. It could be better but I wouldn’t mind playing this from time to time. Give it a try if it looks interesting to you.
