Metal Dead is a hilarious comedy/horror point and click adventure filled with laughs, blood, insanity, and of course... hordes of the undead. This twisted tale centers on two metal-heads in the midst of a zombie invasion. After crashing their car in front of a medical research facility, they become trapped and are forced to use their wits to puzzle their way to freedom. Along the way, they must deal with a cast of characters who range from mildly deranged to completely insane.

Metal Dead is a point n click adventur game that by today's standards doesn't hold up very well. Maybe it's the cartoon-ish style reminiscing of the old days of Newsgrounds and similiar flash game websites, the dry humor that even back then wasn't the funniest or just because while it's an okay game it doesn't do anything special or stands out in any specific way.

One big downside in my opinion is the lack of voice acting, something that could have been added with the Steam release in 2014 (as the game is originally from 2011). Besides that, I have nothing agains the soundtrack or the gameplay of the game. If anything, these are the parts that still holds up.

While I wouldn't say I don't recommend this game, there's better games today and games from back then that holds up better. I am however interested to see if the promised sequel, Metal Dead: Encore, will ever get a release.

A game with a cliché story. What i miss the most in this game was the lack of voices in the characters, but to compensate for that failure the soundtrack helps a little bit to perceive what kind of situation or location the player is. Easy acquisition of achivements and a quick game to complete.
