This is more of a personal story than a review of the game. As far as the game itself goes, it's a perfectly servicable edutainment game with that Disney charm and personality. Animation was rather limited at the time, but what is there is still very expressive and on brand (they even managed to get some secondary motion in there, well done). Voice acting is also plentiful even if compressed. It's pretty good for what it is.

Now for the story: You see, my grandfather had sadly passed away. He lived a long happy life, and to commemorate it I decided to dig through old photographs to find ones of him. I found a lot of good ones of him, but one curious photo of me and my father at school, with me playing a PC game. The game in the pic was rather small, but I knew it wasn't a game I'd normally play or have played, so naturally I got curious and cropped the screenshot and posted it online. Asking around, I first got Mickey's 123s Surprise Birthday Party, but that game seemed older and the graphics weren't as good. Thankfully this later counterpart, ABCs: A Day at the Fair, matched my image more, and thus is the most likely candidate for what I had played back then.

Yeah while I have no memories of the game itself (which again looking at it is still charming for a 90s licensed edutainment game), this little hunt through old photographs is one that will stick with me. Thanks Mickey.
