This is a review for the original release before it was censored because that was when I played it thankfully.
One of my favourite neptunia games and I was so happy Nepgear was able to be the protagonist again. The fact they actually built the entire city of Planeptune and we can actually explore Planeptune tower and see the backgrounds from the older games fully rendered was such a cool experience. The new characters are awesome too

But... I am very disappointed that it got post-hoc censored so it probably isn't as good now. I haven't touched it since because I don't want my good memories to be tarnished

'Objectively' this game is not really that good - from (literally) cookie-cutter dungeon layouts to a very repetitive battle system, all of it is fairly mediocre in all respects.

I loved it though? Especially the story. Maybe it's because I'm new to the Neptunia series so I don't have a lot of knowledge on established stuff, but the [assumedly] new characters of Maho and Anri were super charming and I loved Nepgear's relationship with them - this game also made me really like Nepgear after the previous games I'd played hadn't really given me much of an opinion on her. Not to mention the plot also delves into some.... topics that I generally really enjoy in stories and does this spoilery stuff very well.

idk like I would never actively recommend this game to anyone and fully acknowledge it's mediocre in almost every way, but I still really enjoyed it!
