cute but the controls are terrible and unchangeable

I don't particularly enjoy writing very negative reviews of small, experimental indie games (especially ones by Sokpop, I usually like their fare), but this experience was horrendous. The game should be named Ollie & Bollie: Outdoor Terrarium because it is littered with bugs. One run had to be ended within the first minute because the AI Bollie got sandwiched between a tree and the wall at the very beginning section before the mailbox. Other extremely strange glitches include wool and rope suddenly vanishing, which required me to restart the entire thing as well because resources are finite and once all your wool/rope/sheep vanish out of existence, there is no way to regenerate those supplies back. There was yet another instance where my metal covering for the shed got stuck in a hole, but I don't think that's a bug much less poor programming; you can stick almost anything in a hole, and there's no way to remove something from the hole once it's stuck. Also, AI Bollie has the IQ of a potato and loves to pick up my tools and supplies and run around in circles for a little bit or shake the saw tree for a while... come on man, I just want to repair the damn cart, stop forcing me to play monkey in the middle with the tires! Oh and finally, none of the crucial concepts like using wool to produce rope/attachment areas or combining sticks to form ladders that can be stacked are explained or shown intuitively in level design, so I did have to use a walkthrough to figure out how to progress without losing too many materials. An unforgettable ending for sure to top off the whole experience, because the game crashed as soon as I initiated the ending sequences. Sokpop has a huge array of short and sweet experimental gems, so please don't bother with this one unless you really hate yourself and/or have a friend to play this with.

It's a small little cute adventure from the Sokpop lads. It can be quite tedious to play with an AI buddy, since the game is a bit buggy on all fronts. Later tasks can be quite cumbersome. But a lot of the emergent design and mechanics made this puzzler very endearing.

This is a generally nice looking game that emanates good vibes. However, those good vibes only last till the first time, some weird physics bug hard-locks you without any checkpoint or way to mitigate the damage. Once s specific sheep has glitched out of bounds or a saw magically vanished, your only possibility is quitting the game and starting from scratch.
I really liked the physic puzzles and the art style, but hated noone in the game studio thought of a way to combat the many possible hard-locks in the game. For real! a simple checkpoint or saving system would have done the job...
