Cute little fighter with good spritework.

It's 5 stars because you can play as Tashigi

A very overlooked and underappreciated piece of One Piece gaming history. It's a simple but enjoyable pick up and play fighter covering a fair sum of the locales and setpieces up to Alabasta with plenty of callbacks and references (Nami's entire moveset comes from like two specific chapters). Each of the Strawhats playable have unique fighting styles and campaigns, making for a very replayable experience that I believe is one of the best in the Wonderswan library. I would recommend this game even to non-One Piece fans who might want a quick look at the world and characters.

É legalzinho e curtinho, pixel art bem bonitinha e charmosa, mas jogo de piratinha que estica.

Glad I randomly came across this because this was a fun little fighter !!

Wonderswan is a handheld I have always wanted to dive into so I am now on the hunt to play more games for this lovely little handheld. Of course I have no idea what will be an RPG and what will not be an RPG so I clicked on this game randomly being a huge one piece fan and lord behold its a neat little fighter!!!

Sadly not translated so I couldn't read the text what I do know is the game takes you through the Alabasta arc through a regular arcade mode that ends with Crocodile being the final boss.

One thing off the bat I was honestly impressed with the artwork and sprite work of this game I had no idea how good Wonderswan games looks but I Genuinely thought the game looked awesome. The gameplay itself is simple since there are 2 buttons to only press but I will say there is a lot of combo variety and I am sure people have came up with crazy combos for this game. But all in all the gameplay itself is very simple and very fun and the special moves are fun to watch I just wish it was easier to find out how to unlock the other characters in this game.

Overall very fun playthrough!!
