Petscop is a fictional game featured in the YouTube web series of the same name. Presented as a "lost" and unfinished PS1 puzzle game from a company named Garalina, it is eventually revealed to have disturbing and personal ties to the series's narrator, Paul. There was speculation about whether or not Petscop was an actual game that was programmed, and whether or not such a game would be made available to fans after the end of the series. Ultimately, it was revealed that the world of Petscop was created via animation.

The graphics are very nostalgic coming back to this but idk the gameplay was obtuse for me when I was a kid, and it's kinda boring now. The creature designs are very basic, and some of the puzzles to obtain them are kinda disturbing. It's super short too. Honestly, this whole game seems kinda under baked. It's probably more of a demo more than anything.

anyway yeah petscop was an extremely cool series that nothing else has been able to quite capture the same magic of, the newmaker stuff was kinda insensitive and gross but the creator has been upfront that he views it as a mistake so i don’t think it’s worth being too upset over

Very good game, but I never finished it because my friend told me I would run into shadow monster man. I didn't want to run into shadow monster man because he sounds scary so I stopped playing, though from what I can remember, I had very much fun playing this game. My friend was probably lying though, surely there's no scary shadow monster man in this game.
