Really nice visuals and smooth animations are marred by uneven combat. The weapon charge attacks aren't a very interesting replacement for a proper weapon upgrade system.

I couldn't beat it as a kid and can't beat it as an adult. Beautiful, but punishingly hard. Has incest vibes which makes sense since it's based on Greek mythology.

One of the kids at my childhood church had the genesis port of this game, and it was the only game they had. I've never been able to reconcile that experience of seeing this thing I'd literally never heard of at the last place I'd ever expect to see it.
