Game is really bad, like really bad. One of the worst sports games I have ever played it is almost comical. Tries to be arcade like but is not even remotely fun or interesting.

This isn't very good at all. Super disappointing. It furthers my Nintendo switch buyer's remorse. I'm a cheap gamer and I've never been a Nintendo guy. So I don't really have much interest in playing Zelda or Mario or any of the Switch exclusives because A I have no personal connection to the franchises and B they never go on sale and I'm too damn cheap to buy them. I really only got a Switch because I wanted to play Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.

But I also love playing sports games on portable devices. I guess it's something I don't feel the need for a large screen and it's easy to play while distracted. Anyways this was on sale and it's one of the few baseball franchises I've never tried. And let me tell you it's super disappointing.

It is about just as polished as 2k6 on the psp was. Ball animations look like they're going no where near the fielder's glove until they magically teleport right into their mitt. There's so many features that are missing here that either 2k6 or The Show 10 had on psp. There's no quick manage feature and if you simulate a game on your franchise mode there's no way to check the box score. Just simple basic things are missing from the newest entry in this franchise that the psp had figured out over a decade ago. So I didn't really give this game much of a chance. Played it for about 30 minutes but it was long enough to decide it's not for me and not a lot of fun. To be fair it is really hard to stack up to The Show franchise and the nostalgia of the MVP franchise.

I should have just bought a psp and a ps vita instead. It would have scratched my itch for portable gaming.
