Re-Loaded

released on Dec 01, 1996

This is the sequel to 1995's Loaded, with an improved graphics engine, and just as much violence and blood. Re-Loaded puts you in the shoes of a number of characters, each weird, deformed, and generally strange. It is a mission based game, where you must complete various objectives to successfully win in each of the 12 worlds. Throughout each mission, you must kill lots of people, with a variety of weapons such as plasma cannons, lasers and ultra bombs.

Re-Loaded's character design really deserved to be part of a game better than Re-Loaded but that's life I guess.

Despite the clever title, this sequel didn't hold up. The amazing art style of the characters is back and I felt we knew a bit more about these anti-heroes thanks to the brief, individual cutscenes. But the gameplay is severely lacking. It doesn't feel as punchy and it managed to feel even more repetitive than its predecessor. A complete downgrade in almost every way, the devs should have taken more time on this entry and tried way more newer things.
