Resident Evil 4 HD Project is a mod for the Steam version of the survival horror video game Resident Evil 4. Created by a duo of modders, Albert Marin and Cris Morales, its purpose is to update the original remaster to the most thorough level possible and provide a "definitive graphical experience".

The ultimate way to play RE4 on modern platforms, and maybe even in general. The visual overhaul is very impressive and it's delightful to see RE4 presented in this way. It gives the game a massive visual makeover but it maintains the original artist intent as well. There are also numerous graphical elements that were broken when Capcom ported the game over the years, have now been fixed.
I am beyond disappointed that Capcom never reached out to the modding team to find a way to make this an official download for Steam.

Don't have a lot to say here that people much smarter than I haven't many times before other than that this is one of, if not THE most impressive fan projects in the medium. Everything a remaster should strive to be and more.

Incredible project. The creative effort to recreate RE 4 by Albert and Cris is something to behold. They deserve all the praise in the world. Even if you have played the original game or the remake, this is something to experience.
