The best part of this game was the sandbox mode where you could skip the morality part of making coasters, and make them with the highest intensity rating possible. I always just viewed this as an improved version of RCT1.

Is there anything as thrilling as watching a man in a panda suit dance while a roller coaster car flies off the track toward a man-made island where every guest that complained is being held hostage? No.

And sometimes we ride go-karts.

they made roller coaster tycoon again but even better

Fun, but feels kinda pointless at times

If you are gonna play this game then you need OpenRCT2 for bug fixes, more stability on modern operating systems and new features. This version also doesn't have the awful mobile UI of RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic.
That being said, I have a lot of nostalgia for RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 so I'm far from an unbiased reviewer. All I'll say is that the game allows for a great deal of freedom and optimization when it comes to the gameplay, and it also has a lot of content when it comes to rides, scenarios, decorations, etc.
It's not a hard game either save for the levels specifically designed to be challenging, which I think is appropriate for the subject of amusement parks. It provides the satisfying feeling of building a clean, nice looking park with lots of roller coasters and rides, and then watching things unfold from a distance, always on the lookout for expansion opportunities and fixing whatever issues that may arise.
To conclude, RCT 2 is possibly one of the greatest management sims ever made and there's hardly any reason not to recommend it now that there's a free fix for the shortcomings older games tend to have in the form of OpenRCT2.
Also, in a completely unrelated note, the scenario I played the most as a kid was Bumbling Bazaar, but sadly I can't remember why.

A lot slower than I remember.
