Romeo & Juliet is the first Onion Game created entirely by studio head Yoshiro Kimura, who conceived of, designed, and programmed it on his own, including all artwork and sound design. The arcade-like mini-game was created specifically to give away to current fans, and give potential new fans a taste of Onion’s unique style and flavor.

Romeo & Juliet is a short arcade-style game with the goal of collecting 100 hearts while dodging spikes raining down from the sky. You push 1 button to move left and release it to go to right, making for a fun, simple game to play. It's quick to beat but fun to replay for high scores. very unique and cute! the sound design is my favorite part of it, i love imagining yoshiro kimura just sit in front of a microphone singing the song for this game lol. the mechanic of constantly moving to the right and only being able to move left is also very fun, and makes it stand out from other similar games. other than that, it's a very basic arcadey type game that i probably won't go back to a ton in the future, but for what it is (a free game you get for signing up to the onion games newsletter) it's nice simple fun
