In Rune: Viking Warlord, players assume the role of Ragnar the Viking; the mightiest warrior of a bygone age. In a land where might makes right, it is Ragnar who doles out justice with the blade of his massive battleaxe. His ultimate goal is to confront the Sark Amen, the shadowy warrior-masters of the netherworld. During his journey, Rune will gain access to 15 different weapons -- including a two-handed sword, magical blades, throwing axes, and war hammers -- as he comes face to face with Dark Vikings, underground dwellers, goblins, and a mysterious race of super beings.

This game is clunky, slow, uninteresting.

Fun little hack n slash game. The combat is extremely simple, but that adds to it's brutal charm. The level design is pretty good for the most part and there's a lot of destructible objects that needs to be broken in order for the player to continue. A lot of the levels have verticality and I appreciate that. This game also features a surprisingly good soundtrack. There's not much else to say about this game. If you like viking stuff and feel like hacking and slashing your way through a game then Rune: Viking Warlord is a decent choice.

Yet another game I never wanted nor purchased... I swear, my PS2 collection is chock full of these types of shitty games.
