An update for Sea of Thieves

Split across three hilarious Tall Tales packed with secrets and side-quests, Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island invites pirates to meet classic characters, in a new narrative that brings the iconic locations of Monkey Island to the Sea of Thieves. The adventure begins on Mêlée Island, where pirates can take in the sights, smells and roguish splendour of the island as they seek to uncover why everyone suddenly seems to think quite highly of self-proclaimed mighty pirate, and known poodle pacifier, Guybrush Threepwood. Something's quite clearly wrong...

A wonderful ode to a nostalgic franchise for many. The Legend of Monkey Island DLC is more substantial than I initially thought, bringing to life what was essentially full-length puzzle game, running me some 8 hours in length at least. It's clever, charming and is bolstered by its reverence to the source material. The familiar faces here are well voice acted and animated with the endearing charm Sea of Thieves clearly prides itself on. Although a bit long in the tooth in some parts... this root-beer glorifying, quip laden, insult-sword-fighting romp is worth your time if a "3D point and click adventure" sounds like something you'd fancy.

Receiving the Monkey Island theme as a reward shanty for doing all the DLC's commendations was a wonderful bonus :)

First of all, the saving system was... horrible.

I loved exploring the world in the beginning from a FP perspective. Really enjoyable. I wasn't expecting anything too dense or thorough. The pieces of eight thing was annoying but it's okay. The problem comes when you have to walk through the forest, specially in Monkey Island. With this game mode it got really boring and even confusing. The third chapter was the most disappointing. You are the one who does the thougher job, who fights LeChuck; you finally get to be with Kate, Elaine and Guybrush on a ship and later in Melee Island and... it seems like they barely notice you. It feels like you are a viewer again.

I like new approaches to an universe like Monkey Island's. This one just didn't fully work.

Overall, The Legend of Monkey Island was a lot of fun, and a welcome addition to SoT, but at times it felt like mechanics were over used to pad out time instead of keeping the pace moving.

The Journey to Mêlee Island so far has been a very fun one, in my opinion small things have been missing, which have been teased for other Parts… i would have loved to have one Island per Part each, but hey, I dont wanna Complain, the genre mix of Point and Click and Sea of Thieves Gas worked better than expected, but worse than it should have been.
But having that music as well as all the Places in this Art Style really filled my heart with joy and I really wanna Play the next Part Sooner than later… More importantly I wanna Play Monkey Island again

Chapter One: Fun way to bring point and click elements to SoT
Chapter 2: Overly long and tedious
Chapter 3: Miserable
