I remember the original versions of the first two parts of serious seeds, which I played as a child, with tears in my eyes. Considering the HD versions, this part is not so relevant, but the publisher’s decision to publish this version of the game is very pleasing.

Оригинальные версии первых двух частей серьезного семёна, которые я проходил в детстве, вспоминается со слезой на глазах. С учетом HD версий, эта часть не так актуальна, но решения издателя опубликовать эту версию игры, очень радует.

So, another Serious Sam bundle mod.

At first, I thought, what is there to say. There are many Serious Sam Gold Editions, we have Serious Sam Fusion 2017, HD Remakes etc., what makes this different? At first, nothing, it is the First Encounter and Second Encounter, bundled into one program. But then I saw “Bright Island” in the campaign options. This was unfamiliar for me, so I think I found the main difference here with the other bundle games. It has a completely new, custom-made campaign.

The Bright Island campaign is a lot of fun, despite some players hating it as far as I saw. It introduces new levels, new enemies (or rather modded and merged versions of original enemies) like cute little Ugh-Zhan models, new weapons which are quite overpowered and new soundtracks. It has fewer levels then the First and/or Second Encounter but the levels are a whole lot longer which gives the impression that it is a quite long campaign.

I found it amusing to find some of the Bright Island weapons in the First and Second Encounter, despite that you can only use them once because the ammo is not replenished anytime in the game.

Nothing changed in terms of graphics. In fact, they are even worse than the original games. I don’t know what happened, but tearing and visible outlines are so common that I mistook a border graphic line for a secret ledge with some goodies on it. Sound wise, except the new soundtracks from the Bright Island campaign (which I liked actually) nothing changed.

Even though I liked Serious Sam Classics: Revolution, it still has some issues like a messy start, glitched achievements and the weird graphical glitches that occur all the time. In terms of the achievements (something that motivates me always to play a certain game), it has some legit challenges to complete, which I enjoyed very much. But, like many games, it also had some ridiculous grind achievements like kill 100.001 enemies, something that requires you to play all three campaigns like ten times each or something to get it “naturally”.

In conclusion, the only reason I recommend this version of Serious Sam is because it has something original and new to offer, namely Bright Island. For me it was a moment of refreshment, after playing the original games countless time.

If you like the first serious sam games but dont want to play them separate, Revolution is a good way to experience both games in the price of one! It's pretty, runs on any potato pc with no chugs and its a good 3D run and gun game.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Great bundle for the classic ss games!
