Sherlock Holmes: The Silver Earring is a classic point-and-click adventure game that faithfully brings the legendary detective and his faithful companion Dr. Watson to life. The game boasts a captivating murder mystery with a complex plot, full of historical detail and challenging puzzles that test your observation and deduction skills. While the Wii version suffers from some clunky motion controls and occasional awkward puzzle design, fans of Sherlock Holmes and thoughtful adventure games will find a rewarding and immersive experience in The Silver Earring.

Decent, but fails to let you proceed until you examine some almost indecipherable speck on the wall (it's an important clue, I swear).

Nostalgic reasons, of course, but I love the style of this game.

rating is pure nostalgia, but i have had many, many replays of this game and feel it does hold up. atmosphere in some sections is brilliant like in baker street or horace fowlett's house. the soundtrack is a treat.
