Well made levels with great atmosphere, but dear god some of the enemies could have done with having their HP cut in half.

The first episode is free and stays close to the DOOM formula, offering an engaging experience. The hour-long shooter not only captures the essence of the genre but also provides a glimpse into the creative evolution of 'Scumhead's Ghoul Emporium.' With its blend of familiar mechanics and innovative touches, Shrine proves to be a captivating experience for both fans of the DOOM series and those curious about the development journey behind it's creator.

Nice, relatively tight experience that you ought to try given that it's free. If you're a fan of original Doom and Doom clones, it won't disappoint. A few of the higher-tier enemies are a little tanky for my liking, and do a ton of damage. I think enemies like that have their place in these games, but when they're doubled up and put into really small arenas, it's tough not to get a little frustrated. Still a great experience and worth checking out!

atmosphere was great and it had some good levels but some of the enemies were annoying to deal with. overall i didnt like it.

fun little game with some crazy good weapon designs and atmosphere tho some of the levels were not it with a couple the late game enemies really just feeling like glorified bullet sponges

If I were to talk about only one thing in this game, it's the Feeling. The Feeling is what makes it good. Without it, this would've been just another empty Doom-Based mod. The Atmosphere, and the Sounds, are done Perfectly. Most of the Locations look not only Incredible, but also Interesting. Hell, even the Chapter names are Badass for the most part. Give it a try. It's Worth it.
