Such a nice way to pay homage to the original game, and it was honestly really fun, the graphics aren't much improved from Bomber Crew although the gameplay is really well adapted from that game and is very engaging.

Better than Bomber Crew, but not enough to warrant a 4 star.

There are two campaigns in this game, and I only completed the main one, as the second one just seems like more of the same and personally I'm feeling the burnout! Plus without spoiling anything, the ending of the main campaign is a very definitive END, so, y'know.

This is of course Bomber Crew in space, but the mission structure and objectives honestly reminded me a lot of the Star Wars: X-Wing series, specifically Alliance. It almost feels like playing an easier RTS version of X-Wing, rather than a flight sim.

Crew customization is at the same level as Bomber Crew, which is very solid, I just wish they expanded on it a bit more. Ship customization is more complex but not by much, it is also solid, the problem is I personally didn't like the layout of the ship or the look of the ship. It is basically a big ugly USB thumb-drive and moving around crew-mates always feels a little awkward.

But I digress, it keeps that same fun loop of Bomber Crew and puts a space spin on it, in-fact, it even adds a lot more variety in what can exist/happen in a mission, and what type of missions you'll go on. Repetitiveness is the biggest struggle these "Crew" games have, and I think Space Crew makes a lot of strides in the right direction. I'm very excited to see how these games evolve, their next game titled "Badlands Crew" looks like improvements across the board.

The game is pretty hard in the early and mid stages, so you have to optimize both your crew and systems in order to complete missions. However, the late stage is shockingly easy and is basically just a dopamine factory in terms of getting the enemy ship destruction noise. Enemy ship variety gives the game a decent amount of steam to truck on, and the space the battles take place in are pretty good looking. Overall, it’s a fine successor to bomber crew. Buy whenever it goes on sale.

The audio sounds like they are gargling salt water
