There's very little glamour to this game; most of it is played through status displays and menus, and what is there is slapdash on the verge of broken (ie, the space combat). What is significant about this strategy game is that it engages the imagination harder than nearly any other Star Wars game out there, as you command a variety of characters from the universe in accomplishing missions and tasks that have galactic ramifications. There's a magic in it that makes it worth playing.

So, I tried my absolute best to understand how this game works and how to play it, after trying for 4 hours i legitimately just don't understand how I'm supposed to play it. Just an extremely confusing game. Everyone on the internet just talks about how great this game is, but I really just don't understand how it works. Maybe if I had a guide or something I'd have fun, but man I just don't get it.

not very good but i found it fun as a kid. i doubt i would find it half as entertaining now.
