Stranded Deep

Stranded Deep will feature a unique physically-based crafting and building system. Great care has been taken to minimize, even eliminate, most of the in-game UI. You will be able to craft a variety of crude weapons and tools such as spears, axes, knives, bows and even crossbows. And then there’s an assortment of everyday items to figure out how to craft. You will also be able to build a diverse range of unique shelters and rafts.

Enjoyed this game very much, but when you realize that every island is basically the same, loot is always the same and every in-game day is exactly the same, it gets impossible to continue playing. To find all bosses you have to explore pretty much every island, and it makes the game way too long. Why do the bosses exist in the first place, and why do I have to find them? It breaks all of the immersion this otherwise realistic game had at the beginning. Lost all interest when reached the endgame.

Stranded Deep has a cool premise – survive alone on a deserted island! Scavenging, crafting and exploring are fun at first, but the grind gets real and it feels like there's not much to actually do after a while. Shark attacks are terrifying (in a bad way), and the inventory management is a pain. It's pretty to look at, but the lack of a real goal or proper tutorial makes it more frustrating than fun after the initial excitement wears off.

Molaría si tuviera una historia detrás pero para construir cosas sin propósito, ya tengo minecraft o lego que lo hacen mejor. Lo dejé después del tutorial.
