as both indonesian & horror fan, i highly appreciate both the atmosphere for the game & the reference for the shining (1980) when yandi axed down the door for the scientist's building
Firewatch meets Visual Novels, really cool short experience.
Its hitting a lot of familiar story beats as other point and clicks and its not revolutionary, but it makes up for it with sheer commitment. I've never seen any story with a pure Indonesian cast and while not every emotional beat lands, it does manage to convey a sense of tragedy by the end of the game that other stories might ignore. A solid three hour game.
