Let me use both hands for telekinesis, I wanna make a puppet show.

Haven't beaten it yet but this is the most fun I've had in VR in a long while

A fun power fantasy. Shooting mechanics are good and satisfying. Telekinesis feels awesome. Levels are a bit repetitive, before going in I thought it would be procedurally generated but they're not.
Worth a playthrough. I played through all the difficulties, but after you learn that the grenade launcher is overpowered, game becomes quite easy. Still fun. I recommend it.

Amazing VR roguelite with gorgeous graphics and brilliant gameplay mechanics. You have telekinetic powers you can use to fling objects and enemies around as well as guns. The variety of levels is pretty slim and there are only a handful of different enemy types but it didn’t really bother me as throwing bad guys around and exploding barrels with my mind never stopped being fun.

Synapse throws platoons of standard soldiers, behemoths with couch-sized miniguns, a conga line of exploding goons, and Psycho Mantis-esque flying freaks at players at a relentless pace. It’s a constant barrage of gunfire, explosions, flying debris, and — in some cases — lasers from the sky. But despite those odds, they’re still no match for the player in Synapse — an engrossing power fantasy built around PlayStation VR2‘s intricacies.
