this game is incredibly appealing. the sprites are cute (especially the pixel girls), the compressed pop music is an absolute favorite, and the menus are so simplified that they're hard to understand: it's stunning. but it's really hard! this is a very punishing minigame collection! and that's weird! aly & aj didn't have a show or anything, this game is based off of their disney-branded pop career and nothing else. so the question is: why? who is this game for? it's clearly girl ds shovelware, but why not make any other property a game, and why make this one so hard? i could probably get further on actual hardware and not an emulator, but as it is, even with my tablet acting as a ds touch screen, i can't get past the first part. bummer.
