I really wanted to like this game. Sentient aliens are right up my alley, and the few I was able to meet were awesome. I knew people didn't like the controls, and that I'd have to put some effort into learning. I really tried, and I didn't mind the movement in the sector maps. But the lander movement killed all enjoyment. It was so frustrating trying not to bang into things, trying not to fly right past, trying to hover and maneuver correctly. Trying to collect gas while hovering was near impossible for me. And since it's part of the main gameplay, I couldn't try to get around it. And I tried with both a controller and keyboard, and had the pilot character. I was getting too frustrated to keep trying. Pity, I think I would have really liked it.

This is a very specific gravity well, escape velocity, planetary lander simulator that appears to be wrapped in a ...roguelike story game with adventure elements? Weird. Admirable, even. Definitely not for me.
