A generic rail shooter with a third person view that doesn't add much to the gameplay.

You don’t see first person shooter games for the NES often. In a way, this was very innovative for its time and I can respect that.

Remember old-school, light-gun arcade games? The Punisher on NES tries to capture the same relentless gun-blazing, but it falls short. The controls are clunky, enemies are repetitive, and let's be honest – even 8-bit Frank Castle looks a little ridiculous. It's got its retro charm if you're feeling nostalgic, but don't expect a masterpiece.

What genius thought a movable character who can only go left and right in an 8-bit rail shooter was a good idea?
Yeah this is hard, and not really in a fun way.

NES on rails Punisher shooter. Difficult, but with cheats it's really fun to just watch due to how ancient it is yet well it does its idea on the hardware
