Had to watch a video as I could not understand the paradox at the end but I had fun playing it.

A love letter to the old point&click games of the Sierra era, The Samaritan Paradox can seem rough, both in its sometimes crazy puzzles, the pixel-hunting and the slow-burning of its writing. It's true that you have to get past some rather heavy ergonomic problems to appreciate the title, which has the merit of confronting mature questions about contemporary society – isn't video gaming political? In this respect, it is regrettable that the game did not choose to expand further to develop the different narrative threads, to better grasp the psyche of its characters and the constituent traits of Swedish society in the 1980s, as well as to refine the writing of the fantasy parts with Freja. All these remarks explain why the title is poorly appreciated by the public, despite its obvious qualities (an elegant soundtrack, a haunting rhythm that works and themes that are truly uncommon in video games). Nevertheless, some would say that a good path has been opened for Whispers of a Machine and for the renewal of the genre.

A Steam game randomizer told me to play this. I'll never know if it was good because it was the Glitchy & Crashy Show.
