A lot of fun playing this with and against my family members, despite not being much of a golf fan. The controls were accessible, the courses were fun, and the nostalgia I feel from the soundtrack and announcers is palpable. One of the few EA Sports games I remember fondly.
Even if it might be entirely too easy to score low on the course, what Tiger 2005 makes up for is a mind-boggling amount of content - even for a sports game released in 2004, it feels like a notable amount of stuff to play through. One on one challenges, full PGA Tour season, scenarios, and of course, the showdowns with the legends of the game. Coupled with great chemistry on the commentary front by Gary McCord and David Feherty, and an admittedly very well done composed soundtrack by electronic artist BT that invokes the sport well, and you have a sure fire winner even now.
